Text of site goes here. the militia did not hae a specified uniform since it s a volunteer program the military had uniforms . riflemen wore shirts that you cut the end up to make it look more fierce other men wore war jacket uniform that were long in the front and short in the back. they wore breeches and thick stockings. even though the colors of war is blue and gray some of the colonies already dressed their soldiers in their own colors when they inlisted.
